The same emergency link can live behind a sticker, NFC tag or wallet card so responders can scan or tap when a phone is not available. It turns confirmed medical information into a readable emergency wallet that can be opened from QR codes, NFC tags, printed stickers, wallet cards or the installed PWA. It is especially useful when a responder needs allergies, medicines, conditions, blood type, GP details, or trusted contacts quickly.

## What VoxyDocs is not

VoxyDocs is not a general note-taking app, not Google Docs, and not a voice assistant brand. It uses AI features only to help structure patient documents after consent; the live emergency profile remains patient-reviewed and controlled.

## Frequently asked

- **How does the emergency QR work?** A permanent link is encoded into a printed QR or NFC tag. When scanned/tapped it opens a read-only emergency page with allergies, medicines and contacts that the patient has explicitly enabled. The patient can rotate or revoke the link from the app.
- **Is a phone needed?** No. The same link works behind stickers on helmets, keys, bags, school kit, wallet cards, and NFC wristbands. Anyone with a phone can scan or tap.
- **Is patient data verified?** Yes. AI-extracted fields from uploaded documents only enter the live emergency profile after the patient confirms.
- **Where is data stored?** Encrypted storage with strict row-level security policies. Exact residency and subprocessors are documented in the privacy policy.
- **What happens if my phone is lost?** Emergency QR and NFC surfaces still point to the live profile until the user rotates or revokes them after recovering account access.
